anaesthesia with buprenorphine or butorphanol, and carprofen or meloxicam: a
prospective, randomised clinical trial. [2012] One hundred female cats undergoing routine ovariohysterectomy under
midazolam-medetomidine-ketamine anaesthesia were included in a blinded,

Effect of the use of carprofen in dogs undergoing intense rehabilitation after lateral fabellar suture stabilization. [2011.07.01] OBJECTIVE: To determine whether carprofen, a commercially available NSAID, would decrease perceived exertion and signs of pain in dogs and therefore increase muscle mass and hind limb function without decreasing range of motion after lateral fabellar suture stabilization... Carprofen was not a compulsory component of a physical therapy regimen after lateral fabellar suture stabilization.
Robenacoxib vs. carprofen for the treatment of canine osteoarthritis; a randomized, noninferiority clinical trial. [2011.04.12] Reymond, N., Speranza, C., Gruet, P., Seewald, W., King, J.In conclusion, noninferior efficacy and tolerability of robenacoxib compared with carprofen was demonstrated in dogs with osteoarthritis.
Banding or Burdizzo castration and carprofen administration on peripheral leukocyte inflammatory cytokine transcripts. [2011.02] The objective was to investigate if Banding or Burdizzo castration of bulls would alter the gene expression profile of a range of peripheral leukocyte inflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, interferon-gamma and tumor necrosis factor-alpha) and to determine if the administration of carprofen (C) before castration would affect the expression of these genes...
Efficacy of carprofen on conception rates in lactating dairy cows after subcutaneous or intrauterine administration at the time of breeding. [2011.01] Manipulation of the reproductive tract can cause inflammatory processes in the endometrium and release of cytokines and prostaglandins.
